Veteran radio and television host, Mukhtar Thakur brings to the Twin Cities a unique experience of music, dance and food from South Asia – Sabrang on May 21st at 5 pm at the Pearson Theater, Concordia University- St. Paul. Here are three big reasons to attend:
- You do not have to catch a 25 hour international flight to experience the vibrancy of the streets of Mumbai or Karachi, the flow of the Ganges, the rhythms of Bollywood or taste a spicy snack – it will all be there at Sabrang.
- You want a crash course in South Asian culture, music, dance, food before your upcoming trip or visiting with a colleague from South Asia.
- You want to network with local South Asians after you visited the Minnesota History Center’s new special exhibit: Beyond Bollywood; Indian Americans Shaping the Nation (and Minnesota).
